ABOUT
I put together film programmes (some like to call it curation, others prefer programming — but essentially, it’s all the bits and bobs that make screenings happen).
I am interested in collective space-making through an interdisciplinary approach to film exhibition because I believe all art forms are interconnected, much like all of us.
I write occasionally, mainly synopses and programme notes.
I also give presentations, host Q&As, and moderate discussions (that’s my favourite part, as I am always curious about what’s on other people’s minds).
I have collaborated with cultural institutions, cinemas, and film festivals, including the Barbican Centre, the BFI, the ICA London, and the Korean Cultural Centre. I am currently working with the Hong Kong Film Festival UK and the London Korean Film Festival.
I am also an alumna of the Open City x Another Gaze Critics Workshop, where my friend Lydia and I interviewed filmmaker Saeed Taji Farouky. You can read our interview here.
