Eleanor Lu is a film curator, researcher, and writer based in London.
Her work explores collective space-making through an interdisciplinary approach to moving image exhibition, the limits of the archive, and presenting political films politically. She has worked with the BFI, Barbican Centre, ICA London, London Korean Film Festival, and Hong Kong Film Festival UK, among others. She holds an MA with distinction in Film Programming and Curation from Birkbeck, University of London, and is an alumna of the Open City x Another Gaze Critics Workshop and MayDay Rooms x On the Record Oral History Residency. She currently works at Open City Documentary Festival.
